A LETTER FROM KAITlyn
Hello There!
I’m thrilled to share my art and illustration studio based in Westchester NY with you. I work on everything from custom paintings to cocktail signs and calendars designed to bring the joyful movement of watercolor to your home or event. My most important job is being a mother, so you’ll hear a little about that too. I’m inspired to show my daughter what is possible when you run in the direction of your dreams.
My Story
I've always loved drawing and painting. My family helped instill my appreciation of art from the very beginning. As a little girl, I spent hours drawing houses on the backs of copies of spare maps that my grandpa, a realtor, spread out on a big table for me. I loved to create fun little details and imagine the people who lived there. My grandma, a watercolor artist, generously helped me take art classes to explore different mediums. Many of her paintings hang in our home today. My parents gave me books with beautiful illustrations for Christmas each year, which sparked my love for colorful illustrations and introduced me to the artists who inspire me - Beatrix Potter, Rien Poortvliet, and Jan Brett to name a few.
